For the current development build. VelCube is not yet publicly released. This notice describes local game saves and optional Google demo banners. It is not a notice for a finished, monetized release. Advertising and privacy arrangements will be reviewed, and this notice updated, before that release.
Who is responsible?
Nadir Sadik, an independent developer in Sweden using the studio brand TinkerMint Studio, is responsible for personal data handled for VelCube support and developer-controlled services. TinkerMint Studio is the developer’s brand, not a separate registered company. Contact: nsadik1986@gmail.com.
Your game stays on your device.
VelCube stores game saves, scores, study progress and settings locally so you can continue playing. It has no VelCube account, developer-operated cloud save service, or separate developer analytics service. The developer does not receive your game saves automatically. Apple device backups may include app data, depending on your settings.
The game does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos or precise location. Music and effects are bundled with the app. Local play does not require an advertising connection.
Optional Google test banners
The current build includes Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform. Banners are off until you choose to enable testing. Enabling them contacts Google; a test ad is still a network service. Google’s SDK can process IP addresses (including approximate location derived from them), app/device identifiers, ad interactions, crash information and performance diagnostics to provide, measure, secure and improve its advertising services. See Google’s iOS SDK data disclosure.
Current requests use non-personalized treatment, disable publisher first-party IDs, and do not ask for Apple’s tracking permission. These settings do not mean that no data is processed. Google’s partner-services explanation and privacy policy describe its processing.
You can turn test banners off in Settings. This removes the banner and prevents further banner loads, but cannot recall data already sent or cancel every in-progress SDK operation. The development testing switch is not a completed production consent system. The app currently uses Google’s demo identifiers, not revenue-generating units. Before public advertising begins, the applicable consent flow, age treatment, legal bases and disclosures must be finalized and tested. Leave test banners off if you do not want to use this optional service.
Support email and this website
If you email TinkerMint Studio, your email address, message and any attachments are used to answer you and investigate the issue. The legal basis for this support handling is the legitimate interest in responding to requests and maintaining the game, balanced against your privacy rights. Only send information relevant to your request. Support mail uses Gmail, so Google also processes it as part of that service.
This website’s code adds no advertising, analytics scripts, cookies, contact forms or browser storage. It is hosted through ChatGPT Sites; the hosting platform may process connection, security and access information, including your IP address. The private preview may require platform sign-in; this is separate from the game, which has no account. See the host’s privacy policy. The developer does not operate a separate visitor-tracking system.
How long, and who else?
Local game data remains until it is replaced or removed on your device. Deleting the app may remove it, but backups can remain separately under your control. Support messages are retained as long as needed to resolve the request and relevant follow-up, or meet legal obligations; you can ask for deletion.
Google and the hosting provider handle data under their own applicable service arrangements, purposes and retention practices. The developer does not control all of their retention periods. See Google’s retention information and the host’s policy above. These providers may process information outside Sweden and the EEA; their policies describe locations and applicable transfer safeguards. Production provider arrangements remain part of the pre-release review.
The developer does not sell support messages or local game saves. Information may need to be shared where required by law. If you send a bug report, do not include another person’s information without a valid reason.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email the address above; reasonable identity checks may be needed, but please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate process.
You can also complain to Sweden’s data protection authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY). Requests about data held independently by Google or the hosting platform may also need to be directed to that provider.
Young players and changes
VelCube is intended as a general-audience puzzle, primarily for teens and adults, and is not being presented as a children-specific app. If a parent or guardian has a concern about a child’s data, please contact TinkerMint Studio. Age-related advertising requirements will be assessed before public release; a general-audience description is not a substitute for those protections.
Changes to this notice will be reflected in the date above. Material changes to how the app handles data will be explained before introducing the relevant feature or seeking any required consent.
